Hi everyone! We thought we should get input from the community regarding the UI for Mignori 2.0.0. This will be the biggest update to Mignori to date, so we are planning on periodically posting screenshots of the screens that are really going to change so you can all give us your opinion on how it looks.

The plan is to build a UI that will be as easy to use but keeping it as powerful as it was.

So to start, the first update for you is going to be a little bit controversial… A side menu.

The reason we are opting on doing this is because we want to give you more screen space for the important tasks. You will have slightly more space to enjoy looking at posts and at your collections.

This is also the reason the search bar now “hides” when not in use. We realise this introduces additional taps to use the app, but we think its for the best. The side menu also allows us to expose more functionality which used to be hidden in different places before. We’re planning on finally adding iPad support too, and with that we are planning on adding keyboard shortcuts for those who use physical keyboards, so we want to make it as usable as possible.

What do you think? If you already use Mignori, do you think this changes a lot and will have troubles adjusting to the new Mignori? Mignori is used by a lot of people, and your input counts! If you think this change is bad, feel free to let us know!
